Tradition

It isn’t Christmas until someone gets their gingerbread.

In 2000, I found this recipe for gingerbread using ginger powder and crystallized ginger pieces. It described gingerbread as a historic food. In New England scarcely a household would be without it. I made the recipe; everyone seemed to like it; i have been making it ever since. Carrying on the tradition as my own now, it hardly seems Christmas until the Gingerbread comes out of the oven and fills the house with its sweet and spice.
