August 21, 9:00AM Oregon time. Watching the sun ascend over Oregon Garden. http://www.oregongarden.org/ was a perfect spot for watching the eclipse and a hidden gem of Oregon.
Eclipse achieved.
Specifically….. i used the same filter as the eclipse sunglasses scotch taped over the iphone lens. Then i used the camera+ app to adjust the ISO and shutter speed manually. So i worked the iphone as much as i know how.
Of course, it was even more spectacular than the photo. The eerie transition of color over a field of people – amazing and powerful.
