Hope and a change in thought to a complete inclusive way

Anne Braden, who passed away in 2006, would have been 95 years old today. During this day, stop and reflect on her words, which describe both her sense of hope, and commitment to accountable relationships with communities of color, and ask what they mean for your work in creating change. How are you showing up for racial justice?
“In every age, no matter how cruel the oppression carried on by those in power, there have been those who struggled for a different world. I believe this is the genius of humankind, the thing that makes us half divine: the fact that some human beings can envision a world that has never existed.”
“The first task of whites in these struggles is to be vocal and visible.”
