TWO KINDS OF PEOPLE

There are two kinds of people.

One who sees someone suffering and who says, “That’ll never happen to me.”

The other who sees someone suffering and who says, “That could happen to me.”

There are two kinds of people.

One who has been treated terribly and who says, “I can’t wait to do this to someone else.”

The other who has been mistreated and who says, “I’ll never do this to someone else.”

There are two kinds of people.

One who has been humiliated and who says, “I’ll get even.”

The other one who has been humiliated and who says, “I’ll never hurt anyone like this.”

There are two kinds of people.

One who struggled to get knowledge, influence, and money and who says, “Let everyone else find their own way.”

The other one who has struggled and who says, “Let me open the way for others.”

Being good is a choice.
