ah yes on of my favorite San Fernando Valley views, from Mulholland. No moose here but a cold wind and fog have moved in to the valley for a few days

A few of my favorite things just arrived. The crystallized ginger goes in my famous gingerbread.

i don’t have a studio setup yet (soon!) so i treated myself to a class with the most fabulous glass artist, Ann Cavanaugh( anncavanaugh.com) for my birthday weekend high, that i am hoping will hold me over…the pictured landscape is my first “glass” representation of the great respect and communion i feel with the trees

for those of you kind enough to wish me well on the start of another cycle around the sun, i say… my well being i owe to you- who inspire me, educate me, humble me on a daily basis. i feed off your energy, which raises me from what would otherwise be a dreary world

it was the St. Lawrence…and it was the Geneseeit was the energy of the flow of that great volume of waterand it drove us crazy, and fed our spiritsand put us to sleep on Cob Hill,through open windows on summer nights.
