Friends in ROC

3 years ago, i was visiting family, friends in Rochester (as I will again!) The memory reminds me that each day the sun rises to a different day. Every year is different. I will return to Rochester, though I will be missing the conversations with one friend Fletcher. I will celebrate with Sarah and Skip’s fast growing children, I will share conversations over food with the “Woods” sisters Phyllis, Carol, and Sally, we may take the long drive through history to the Wayland farm of our youth, I will walk the woods being cognizant of Adirondack bears with Betsy, we will remember our important visit and march at the Woman’s Rights National Park in Seneca Falls with Mindy, SeaDog Dannels and others, and I will watch boats meander in front of Aladdin’s with John, his Xerox buddy, and Donna, and everyone invited for Greek food. We will all share that energy that each day is a different gift, and one i can’t wait to share again.
